The conference was convened by the Standing Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front in accordance with the Charter of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front and its full-term working programme. The meeting brought together senior Party and State leaders, former leaders, members of the Central Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front, and representatives of socio-political organizations and mass organizations.

Addressing the conference, delegates highly appreciated the achievements of the entire Viet Nam Fatherland Front’s system in 2025, especially in the context of organisational restructuring and the implementation of major political tasks. Despite a heavy workload, the Fatherland Front at all levels demonstrated strong political determination, flexibility and a high sense of responsibility, contributing to social consensus and stability.

The conference discussed and provided feedback on several important draft documents, including the 2025 Review Report, the Programme for Coordination and Unified Action in 2026, and the Political Report to be submitted to the 11th National Congress of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front (2026–2031). Many delegates emphasized the need to further clarify the Front’s role in promoting sustainable development, enhancing social welfare, protecting legitimate rights and interests of the people, and strengthening public trust.

A number of opinions also highlighted emerging concerns of the public regarding ethical standards and professional capacity of a segment of officials, as well as uncertainties in the regional and global situation. Delegates stressed the importance of proactive measures to safeguard political security, national sovereignty and social stability, while reaffirming the strong determination of the people to stand together with the Party and the State in national construction and defence.

Digital transformation was identified as a key breakthrough. Delegates noted the positive results achieved through the implementation of the “Digital Fatherland Front” initiative, including online platforms for receiving and handling citizens’ feedback, operational management systems, and tools supporting social supervision and policy consultation. These efforts were seen as essential steps towards modernising the Front’s operations and enhancing its effectiveness in the digital era.

The conference also approved important personnel arrangements with unanimous consensus, reflecting unity and shared commitment within the Viet Nam Fatherland Front’s system.

In her closing remarks, Mdm. Chairperson of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front affirmed that the outcomes of the conference would serve as an important foundation for the successful organisation of upcoming major events, including the 11th National Congress of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front and preparations for the 16th National Assembly elections. She called on all levels of the Front and its member organisations to continue promoting solidarity, innovation and responsibility, contributing to the country’s fast and sustainable development in the new period.
