In the afternoon of 28th February 2018, the Delegation of American Red Cross (ARC) Headquarters led by Mr Jono Anzalone, Vice President in charge of international services, visited the regional warehouse of the Vietnam Red Cross (VNRC), which was contructed from the VNRC’s investment ofits own. on behalf ofthe Vietnam Red Cross, Vice President Tran Thi Hong An, , welcomed and made introduction to ARC ‘s Delegation.

Mme Tran Thi Hong An highly appreciatedthe long-term cooperation between two National Societies, especially effective supports of ARC in terms of disaster preparedness and response, health care.
VNRC ‘s regional warehouse, inaugurated in May 2017, is located in Hoa Chau commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city, on the total area of over 6,000 m2. With the total construction investment of 27 billion Vietnamese Dong,this is the biggest warehouse of theVNRC, functioning as the storage of relief items and the logistics hub for disaster operation in the Central and Central Highland regions.
In the coming time, VNRC expects that ARC will continue to support VNRC in the development of the warehouse management softwareand share their experiences inwarehouse management in order to improve the quality of checking and tracking process of importing and exporting.
