Southern Office of Vietnam Red Cross: Donated 200 gifts to poor people in Mang Yang district, Gia Lai province

On the morning of December 15, the Southern Representative Office of the Vietnam Red Cross in collaboration with Tu Tam humanitarian Center (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) and Gia Lai Red Cross Chapter presents gifts to the poor, victims of Agent Orange, disabled people in Ayun commune, Mang Yang district, Gia Lai province.

Accordingly, 200 gifts were handed to the poor, victims of Agent Orange, people with disabilities in Ayun commune, each gift worth 400,000 VND including: 10kg of rice, 01 shrimp custard, 01 bottle of cooking oil, 0.5 kg of sweeteners, 01 kg of sugar, 1 bottle of fish sauce, soup powder, candy and 100,000 VND. Total value of 80 million VND.

This is one of the activities of the campaign “Tet for the poor and victims of Agent Orange” in Piggy Year 2019 launched by Vietnam Red Cross. This year, the whole Association strives to mobilize at least 1.5 million Tet gifts to donate 1.5 million households to enjoy the spring and celebrate the Year of the Pig in 2019.
