Quang Binh: A loving home for ethnic minorities

With the support of the provincial Red Cross Chapter of VND 50 million, the Provincial Border Guard Command supports the working day, construction materials and the support of the local Party Committee, local authorities and neighbors, after 3 months of construction, the charity house with an area of 40m2 has been completed in the indescribable joy of the family. On the morning of December 19th, 2018, the provincial Red Cross and the Border Guard Command of Quang Binh province handed over charity house to Mr. Ho Non's family.

Sharing with the delegation, Mr. Ho Non was so touched: “In the difficult situation of the family, they did not dare to dream of having a new, beautiful house to live in. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Provincial Border Guard Command, the provincial Red Cross, and local authorities for their support. "

Sharing happiness with his family, Mr. Ho Ngoc's family in Ka Reng village, Dan Hoa commune were also given charity house on this occasion. With the support of the provincial Red Cross of 50 million VND, local authorities of 10 million VND, after 3 months of construction, the house has been completed and put into use.

He said excitedly: "Now he has the peace of mind to have a new house to live with 2 grandchildren, no longer have to fear when it rains. The new house replaced the dilapidated house on the side of the river before. This is thanks to the help of the Party, Uncle Ho, thanks to the Provincial Department of Civil Mobilisation Affairs, the Red Cross of Quang Binh province and the local government, wishing to have a new home to live and become a reality. Thank you".

At the house donation ceremony, the representative of the Provincial Department of Civil Mobilisation Affairs, the Provincial Border Guard Command, the provincial Red Cross Chapter, the District Department of Civil Mobilisation Affairs, the District Red Cross, local authorities gave each family of Mr. Ho Ne and Mr. Ho Ngoc some other gifts such as: blankets, household tools and cash for use in daily life.

This is an expression of the tradition of "Drinking water, remember the source" of Red Cross staff and members and the love of officials and soldiers of the Quang Binh border guard command post on the 74th anniversary of its founding Vietnamese people's army (December 22nd, 1944 - December 22nd, 2018), aiming to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the all-people border guard, 60 years of the Border Guard tradition.
