The General Secretary and the State President stated that the country is in the process of industrialization and urbanization. Every year, the country must devote a considerable area to industrial and urban development. Along with this process, environmental quality is also declining to an alarming level, the effects of environmental pollution, climate change, global warming and sea level rise are among the biggest environmental challenges for humanity in the 21st century.
In recent years, natural disasters and extreme climatic phenomena are increasing in many parts of the world, including Vietnam, leaving very serious consequences. Planting more trees will contribute to overcoming the destruction, indiscriminate exploitation of forests, preventing erosion and limiting floods; Planting more trees will contribute to creating a great potential for material wealth for the life of every family and society. For cities, industrial centers, planting more trees also contribute to limiting environmental pollution, keeping fresh air.
