Responding to the Program "Tet for the poor and Agent Orange Victims" - Spring of the Piggy Year, Ha Nam provincial Red Cross Chapter coodinated with the Red Cross Sponsorship Center (Chi hoi tan tro Chu thap do Tinh nguoi) to distribute 1.206 Tet gifts to the poor, families under preferential treatment policy, disadvantaged people in Binh Luc district of Phu ly City and veterans in three Nursing Centers of Kim Bang, Duy Tien and Liem Can on 7th January 2019.

Mr Bui Quang Cam, a member of the Provincial Party Committee, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People 's Committee and Mr Nguyen Minh Toan, a member of the National Standing Committee of Vietnam Red Cross Society, the Chairman of the Ha Nam provincial Red Cross Chapter attended and distributed Tet gifts to war invalids in Kim Bang district Nursing Center.

During distribution in districts, city, Liem Can and Duy Tien Nursing Center, representatives of provincial Red Cross Chapters, leaders of district/ city People 's Committees, leaders of departments, sectors, leaders of ward/ commune Party Committe, People 's Committee joined the activities.
The distribution of Tet gifts in Liem Can Nursing Center for war invalids
These activities aimed to support the poor and war invalids of Ha Nam province to be in better condition before Tet came. Red Cross volunteers actively joined to distribute Tet gift and made music performance to beneficiaries.
During this charity mission, the Red Cross Sponsorship Center (Chi hoi tan tro Chu thap do Tinh nguoi) supported 1.206 Tet gifts with value 500.000 Vietnamese Dong per gift; 20 blankets; 10 wheelchairs. The total value of this charity mission was accounted for 630 million Vietnamese Dong.
On this occasion, Ha Nam provincial Red Cross Chapter handed over the Recognition Certificate to the Red Cross Sponsorship Center (Chi hoi tan tro Chu thap do Tinh nguoi) for their contribution to the Program.
